I believe education is a key resource to reconciliation and this is an action. It starts with the conversations, integration, and representation in early onset learning that can change narratives and actions for life.  Justice Murray Sinclair was Manitoba’s first Aboriginal judge and the second Aboriginal judge in Canada. He is also the head of the TRC. As a Manitoban, I am very proud of this. He speaks about education systems and the importance of teachers’ roles in reconciliation. He reminds us that teachers have a sacred responsibility to ensure that all their children, regardless of their heritage, are able to think about four key questions throughout their education: These questions are where do I come from, where am I going, why am I here, and most importantly, who am I? As a future educator, I have a deep responsibility in reconciliation and although I am only one person, I have a large, impressionable formative audience.
