Experimental Learning For Young Children
In this course, I learned how to enhance experimental learning for children in school, family, and community contexts. As the course unfolded, I was able to engage in inquiry, relationship-building, reading, discussion, reflection, and critical
questioning as a way of making the theory more accessible and concrete. While also understanding how important it is for children to learn by engaging in play in meaningful and equitable ways.
A powerful and excellent reading we read in this class was: Thompson, A., & Bynoe, K. N. (2023). The gift of playful learning: A guide for
educators. Shell Educational Publishing.
