The list of beliefs I plan to implement for my career as an educator. I hope they continue to grow as I continue to learn.
- all students deserve the same kind of love and care no matter their sex, background, race, etc
- their are more ways than one to teach, as well as to learn
- in order to succeed, confidence must be instilled
- education should be inclusive for all
- every child matters
- classrooms should be welcoming and comfortable
- hands on learning
- feedback is crucial to success
- mental health is as important as physical health
- we loan the land we live on
- hidden curriculum is as important as formal curriculum
- a student should never feel unnoticed
