Get To Know Me!
Hello Everyone,
Welcome to all my readers! My name is Kallie Lumbard. I am originally from Lloydminster Sk, but am now living between Saskatoon and Regina while I attend university. I am in my fourth year of elementary education so things are starting to get real exciting. My parents always told me that university would fly by, I never really believed them but they were definitely right.
My biggest inspiration has always been my family. I grew up with two teachers as parents so I am following in their footsteps. My parents and I are very close. 
I am also the oldest of four kids. I have one younger sister and two younger brothers. We always kept my parents busy as we were all in a wide range of different sports growing up. My main sport was swimming.
That was a little bit about myself but I am now going to switch over and talk about this class, EDTC 300. I do not have too much experience with education technology and that is the main reason why I decided to take this class as my final elective. I see all of the benefits from it and I am planning on taking this opportunity and this class to strip outside of my comfort zone and push myself to try something new. Blogging is something that I have always been a little afraid of but again something I have always wanted to try. I am not really sure why it scares me, possibly just putting my thoughts out there? Without this class I am not sure that I ever would have pushed myself to actually try it out. I am really looking forward to the following weeks to see how much I develop!
