For this week’s class our main focus was grading papers from our peers, and that is what we spend most of our time doing. This is an important exercise as we will be grading students work soon and need to get used to grading items and how we as teachers want to grade, especially since every teacher will grade in a different way. Being graded by our peers also gave us a chance to learn how to take suggestions from peers/colleagues, as well as work on our own self-reflection. After this we watched a few videos and then did another exercise, with this one surrounding fractions and our own skill level with them. We were given an online quiz and was asked to do grade 5 level fraction skills. I ended up getting 100% which didn’t surprise me as I really like math and things like that.
