Who am I?

Hello! My name is Kaylie Klewchuk and I am currently 18 years old. I was born and raised here in Regina, Saskatchewan. I have an older sister who works in Indian Head as a paramedic. I am currently living at home with my parents and our family dog! My family has always been my biggest supporters with everything I do. With their help, I have been able to accomplish many things!

I enjoy playing all sports and staying active. Softball has always been a huge part of my life. I have had the opportunity to travel the world playing the sport I love. This sport has allowed me to meet many new people and create many life long friendships. Teamwork and determination are skills that I have gained through playing this sport. Along with softball, I also have Ukrainian danced and played ringette from a young age.

I attended St. Bernadette Elementary School from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

I graduated High School in 2021 from Michael A. Riffle Catholic High School. I enjoyed being involved in extra curricular activities around the school. Due to Covid-19, I was not able to have a normal senior year, but I always made the best of it!

I am now currently attending the University of Regina. I am in the faculty of Education, in hopes to become an elementary school teacher. Growing up I have always loved to help other people. It has been my dream to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. It excites me to know that one day, I will be helping to educate our future generations. I have had many teachers push me to do my best and inspire me to become a teacher. I one day hope to make as great of an impact on my student! As a future educator, I feel that it is my duty to help bring knowledge to difficult topics to talk about. With learning, we will have knowledge and with knowledge we have power!
