Who I am

My name is Kyler Flahr, and I’m currently a 4th-year Middle Years Education student at the University of Regina. I’ve always had a passion for learning and helping others learn, which naturally led me to pursue a career in teaching. I’m excited to use this space to share more about myself, my journey in education, and the things I’m passionate about.

My academic interests include Social Studies, Mythology, and science, subjects I love bringingto life engaging and meaningfully for students. I believe education should spark curiosity, build critical thinking, and help students connect to the world around them.

Outside of school,  I’m a proud dad to a 2-year-old daughter, and I share life’s adventures with my loving partner Segen. I’ve been bartending on the side for the past six years, at the Canadian Brewhouse, which has taught me a lot about communication, multitasking, problem solving and working with all kinds of people.

Outside of school and work, I’m really into Star Wars and Harry Potter, I even have a tattoo for them, Insert photo, Instert photo, I love the stories, the characters and their respectiveUniverses. I’m also a big sports fan, I cheer for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL and the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.
