Welcome to my blog!

My name is Kathleen Guest and I am an elementary school teacher in Regina. I am entering my 10th year of teaching, with experience teaching grades 1-6. My current role is teaching grade 3/4.

I grew up in British Columbia on Vancouver Island and moved to Saskatchewan to begin my  teaching career in 2014. People are always shocked to hear that I prefer a Saskatchewan winter over an island winter! Shortly after moving here, I met my partner John and we have a 4 year old boy named Hunter. We also have 3 cats – Smith, Dukes, and Babes.

When not teaching, I am often outside with my son bike riding, digging in dirt, or playing on a playground. I try to find some time to read each day, and enjoy reading psychological thrillers. I am excited to start my Masters journey and welcome you into this space along with me.
