10 New Moves in 10 Minutes?

For my learning project this week, I wanted to try learning some new rebound moves from someone other than Session. Let’s just say that what I found was rather… interesting. I stumbled upon a video called “10 MOVES in 10 MINUTES Rebounder Workout (Intermediate to Advanced) by a lady named Renee Lynne. I’m not even going to say anything. I’ll just let the video of what I learned speak for itself… enjoy! 😂

Okay, here’s actually what I think about it:

  • I did not find any of these moves to be intermediate or advanced.. I would classify them all as beginner ( I already knew the majority of them)
  • Let’s just be honest… these moves were whack! I’m not a huge fan of the “monkey arms” that she quite enjoyed using in her video
  • I did not feel confident or cool doing any of these movements!
  • There was no combo or sequence of putting the moves together at all. Just one move after the other which makes it super boring
  • I didn’t find her particularly motivating
  • The video had very quiet music that was hard to hear
  • The video advertises 10 moves in 10 minutes… I only count 8 moves total

Overall… I give it 2/5 stars 👎

What I’ve learned from trying to learn rebounding from YouTube is that it is very different than anything that Session teaches. I guess just anybody can post a video teaching rebounding in their living room these days. I haven’t found anything that comes even close to the technicality and creativity in the moves that Session uses. Session is my number one pick for anything rebounding!

That’s all for this week! I hope you enjoyed a good laugh watching my “monkey arms”

  1. My inner child LOVES that a small trampoline can be so much fun (by the looks of it) as an adult!
I’m glad your finding what is best suited for you, and that this shows that not all exercises are the same, and you are learning what you like best and how much you want to be challenged.

  2. It looks so silly and fun! At least you know your preferences and what workouts work best for you!

  3. Session is far superior! Awesome to try more sources and see what is out there! This video would be helpful for someone like me who has never tried this! Thank you for sharing!

  4. Oh my goodness! The “monkey arms” were very entertaining to watch! Seems like such a random move. I can imagine it would be hard to get into the groove of the work out if the video and movements aren’t engaging or motivating enough. I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with this video but now you will appreciate the Session workouts that much more!
