Going Off Tramp This Week!

This week, I decided to take a break from the trampoline and try learning a Form routine. Form is Session’s signature style class that combines Pilates and functional strength movements. I read the “classes page” on Session’s website and they describe it as a movement sequence that combines cardio and sculpt sequences to leave you dripping set. Form classes are definitely some of my favourite! I also wanted to try out a new editing tool, so I tried editing my video on Instagram Reels.

Pros/Cons:

  • They had different effects that I could layer on top of the video to give it a cool look. I used one called “Summer”
  • Instagram lets you put various audios directly over top of the video, and they have some good remixes made by other creators
  • One drawback of using Instagram Reels is that I could not post it directly to YouTube. I had to screen record it on my laptop and then upload it to YouTube from Clipchamp.
  • Overall, I give it a 4/5 and would definitely use it again!

Overall, I really enjoyed this style of class and today’s sequence. The theme of this class was side body (obliques, and glute med). I love working side body and this is probably my favourite muscle group to be featured in a class. Check out my video showing the sequence I learned this week below!
