ECS 303 Stories From The Field

For my field placement, I had the amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher at Regina Christian School. Throughout my time their this fall I have made for many wonderful memories and I thought I would share a few with you!

#1

One of my favorite memories was the first day I got to meet my co-op teacher. I remember walking to her room with her to meet the students and when I saw her classroom I felt instantly at home. The reason I felt this was because of her giant tree house that she has. When I saw it that tree house I knew I was join to fit right in as to me that tree house showed sign of exploring which is something that I love to do!

Another one of my favorite memories that I have is me and the student end of the day fun that we have. At the end of the school day the student get time to do things that they would like to do and some of that time would be filled with me and the students making joke. One of my favorites that a student told me was (Where does a polar bear keep its money? In a snow bank!).

Lastly, one of my most favorite memories from this fall would be when me and my partner taught a lesson on patterns. Our activity for them was creating their own pattern snakes. seeing their smiles of their faces as they got to make them made me so happy!

I can’t wait to go back in march for my 3 week block and make some many more memories!
