Progressivism is the educational philosophy that resonates the greatest with me. I prefer to focus on the child, not the subject. I believe that learning is active, and that problem solving should be demonstrated and facilitated by the teacher.

The Restorative Justice Pedagogy reading helped me to learn the significance of assumed vs expressed needs. I appreciate that the effort in this type of learning environment is focused on creating relational understanding.
