A set of unfortunate circumstances, first having lost my corporate role due to restructuring, and secondly a great need to escape the confines of owning a home too large for just one person, helped me to embark on a journey of discovery. With my severance and the proceeds from the sale of my house, I spent a year letting my intuition guide me as I find the right space and place for my future self. I fell in love with my province, and gained a real sense of ‘home’ while I recaptured my love of fishing. Watching the sunrises and sunsets all over Saskatchewan, I reconnected with Mother Earth. I practiced using my imagination with audiobooks, and I learned how to take care of my body and my brain. I explored my spirituality, and I gained better understanding of some religions. I learned the importance of my thoughts, the words that I use, and of the actions I take. I prayed.

Over this time, I picked up pieces. In this space I’ll build a collection of those which help drive my aspiration to become a teacher.

I was evaluated and found to be of the Sage Achetype. This is the message I received with the appraisal.
Earl Nightingale and other like-minded individuals have mentored my thinking. This has been my screen saver for over a year, it helped me to find my way back to the UofR’s Education program.
