Educational philosophies take time to develop and expand. As I have recently begun my journey into education, my teaching philosophy is still developing and will still expand as I undergo my degree.
As of now, I want to be an emotional outlet and supporter for students. I aspire to be a teacher who stands up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. I am very passionate about mental health in schools and I believe that many students deal with poor mental health and are not given nearly enough resources to succeed. I hope that one day, mental health resources will be universal throughout all schools.
I am very excited to learn more and to develop my teaching philosophy so that when I become a teacher, I will be successful in giving students the support they need.
