What does it mean to be a professional?

Being a professional means acting accordingly and appropriately in any circumstance given in and out of the classroom. We must provide a great example to students who look up to us in hopes that they follow. It is important to come into class organized and prepared. We must also respect student’s uniqueness and learning capabilities and have a plan set not only for them to not fall behind, but to create an environment where there is growth. We want to create a classroom where parents know and trust that their children will be in great hands, that there is diversity, and that it is a safe place to learn.
