Achievements:
In the year 2012, my dance team and I took a trip to Germany to compete at the World Tap Championships. I was so nervous. I was competing with a tap trio, and a tap group. It was absolutely incredible. The tap group was called “Hex” and we managed to make it to the finals. I could not believe it. It was like a dream come true. As luck would have it, we managed to place fourth! I have never been more excited and more proud of my team in my entire life. It is a precious memory that I will hold on to forever.
My dance team also placed first in a dance-off at a dance competition in 2019. The dance competition was called, “The View” and it took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This was a very special moment for me because I was unable to participate in my last competition season this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is heart breaking to have not completed my last year of dance onstage, but having the memory of my team coming first overall means a lot to me.
