About Me

Hello everybody,

My name is Michael Gillespie, and I am currently in my third year at the University of Regina with the hopes of becoming a future Elementary School Teacher. I’m from Edmonton, Alberta, and attended MacEwan University to attained a Special Needs Educational Assistant certificate with First Class Standing honors back in 2020.

I am hoping with my knowledge from my Special Needs Educational Assistant Certificate along side my future expertise from my Bachelor in Elementary Education Degree, that I can become a well respected, professional, and versatile teacher to all my prospective students and colleagues

During the spring and summer you can find me playing competitive lacrosse for the Beaumont Outlaws as well as, being a lacrosse official in the Greater Edmonton Area. On top of that, I’m also a coach for a U13 boys lacrosse team as well here in Edmonton. In the Winter months, I am a curler for the men’s University of Regina team.

I hope you enjoy my Professional ePortfolio and feel free to leave any comments or suggestions as I’m always looking to improve and learn from others.
