→ Hello Everyone,
On previous weekend I just tried to get work on the introduction because getting to know about ourselves and to express about us is one of the most important thing. Therefore, I worked on the introduction sentences. In German language introducing yourself is known as “sich vorstellen”.So let’s begin,
My name is Nancy.I
Ish heiße Nancy.
Kindly remember that the ß sign has here there sound of ss.

Another way of saying your name is
Ish bin Nancy…. Which means
I am Nancy.
This sentence is generally used among the friends. In the German language it’s very important to know that which sentence is formal and informal,
The other sentence to introduce your name is
Mein Name ist Nancy.
My name is Nancy.
So, the sentences of Deutsch language I am putting together of saying your name:
1.Ish heiße Nancy.
2.Ish bin Nancy.
3.Mein Name is Nancy.
Even though at the end of the sentences in German language used to put the full stop to make the sentence end as same as English language.
Now let’s talk about how to say surname then how to say, for example the surname of the person is Pannu, then
My surname is Pannu.
Mein familienname ist Pannu.
I am from Germany or
I am from Punjab, then we write
Ich komme aus Deutschland.
Ich komme aus Punjab.
We can replace Deutschland with any country or state name.
Get ready for my next blog post, where I’ll be sharing tricks on how to deliver a confident self-introduction. To take it to the next level, I’ll also be creating a video tutorial that will guide you through the process, helping you to make a lasting impression and own the room with confidence. Stay tuned.
Hallo Nancy, mein Name ist Kim und ich schätze es sehr, deinem Deutschunterricht zu folgen.
For fun, I thought I would use Google Translate for part of my message – I then practiced verbally saying what was written. According to my German mother, my accent is horrible. Well, at least I tried!
Have you used any other online resources to learn aside from YouTube. I’ve been using Duolingo for French and German – but I’m afraid I’m still horrible at both.
Hello Nancy,
I tried to write my name, but I wasn’t successful. Can you plz share a You Tube channel where I can start learning.
