The Best is Yet to Come

I am Nancy, and I am honored to introduce myself. Hailing from India, I bring with me a rich cultural heritage and a passion for education, inspired by my beautiful mother, a dedicated teacher. I am a committed and passionate educator with over 5 years of teaching experience in my home country. I completed a Bachelor of Education in 2019; after completing my B.Ed., I was selected for a teaching position as a science educator in one of the renowned schools back home. Throughout my teaching career, my priority has been to make every student feel valued and respected.

My future goal is to complete my Master’s degree with flying colors and to make my family proud, especially my grandparents. I love my grandparents the most. I cherish and miss my family since being away from them as I come from a joint family back home.

Every time I offer to make coffee or pasta, my husband suddenly declares he is fasting and becomes a firm believer in a caffeine-free life. However, I do enjoy dancing, especially my cultural dance known as “Giddha” the traditional Punjabi songs.

Moreover, my favorite book is “Life’s Amazing Secrets” by Gaur Gopal Das, an Indian Hindu monk, and motivational speaker. In his book, he mentions happiness and how to lead a happy life as happiness does not come automatically, we must choose to live happily. In his book, he said, don’t just count your years, make your years count. Material gifts are nice, but giving your time, undivided attention, and genuine love to someone is more valuable and meaningful. These intangible gifts create deeper connections and lasting memories.
