If some students are uncomfortable to share their ideas in class, they can write down their reflections of create a Flip grid video.
Materials Needed:
Student books, projector, handouts (passages from the Bible).
Learning Experiences:
Set ( _5-6_min)
Start with introducing to students a new strategy for getting students` attention (continue the tune by clapping). Then watch a video “Faith journeys of Moses” and discuss it in order to revise what we have talked about at our previous lesson.
Development ( 20 min)
Divide students into the groups of 10 and assign them a Bible person to read about in the text book (page 10) and additional information in handouts. Then, they have to list facts they can recall from previous grades on assigned people of faith and present a story of this Bible person by creating a tableaux (static picture) and explain to the class what can we figure out about the God`s love from this story.
(If students struggle to remember anything on assigned people of faith, they can go to the school`s library and do a research)
Closure ( 5 min)
Students present their tableaux, then we sum up all the information we`ve learned today about stories of God`s love.
