Skype: A great way to enrich students learning experience is to invite an expert/guest speaker into classroom with Skype.It is an access to hundreds of volunteer guest speakers from around the world on a wide variety of topics.
Technology that can be used by students to show what they know:
- Create videos on Flipgrid; Youtube; presentations on Prezi
- Padlet is the easiest way to create and collaborate in the world.
- Storymap helps students tell stories on the web that highlight the locations of a series of events.
- Smilebox Scrapbooking helps students to create scrapbooks as a way to represent what they know.
- Pixton or Comic Master to illustrate a concept.
- Podcasting—Tools like Easy Podcast or Audacity make it easy. Students can speak as the expert on a topic with a podcast. It’s a great exercise for media knowledge and creativity, as well as oral skills.
