Spicing it up with chili Potatoes!!
Since last week I decided to make chow Mein, this week also I would try a Chinese-Indian fusion recipe. This week I decided to make sweet chili potatoes. Chili potatoes involve deep fried potatoes, tossed with a spicy, tangy sauce that makes it a very famous Indo-Chinese appetizer or starter. Golden fried potato wedges or fingers are the foundation and not just because of their rich taste but the inclusion of crunch in every bite. These are then put in a tasty, fiery, sticky sauce from a combination of soy sauce, chili paste, garlic and a touch of vinegar. To add some colors that make the dish look even more appealing, additional ingredients such as bell peppers, green onions, sesames are added to the mix of ingredients as well as to the toppings – crunchy and equally tasty. Crunchy from outside while soft from inside and the spice married beautifully with its sweetness, chili potatoes are everything a food lover would want in a dish. This time I followed a new cooking show’s recipe i.e. cooking shooking
