And that is it for the cooking and baking learning project for this semester, or is it? I have really enjoyed carrying out this project as it has been a real learning process both in the classroom and in the kitchen. Not only have I expanded my cooking and baking skills but also have a great insight into myself, preferences and the possibility of creativity in the culinary field. Prior to doing this project, I was simply on autopilot in the kitchen: cooking and consuming the same things over and over. From this challenge, I was able to bring myself out of my shell and attempt recipes that I had always wanted to but never thought I could, based on different cultures. It also instilled me with newfound understanding of how easy and enjoyable cooking can actually be with so many tools to assist on the internet. In this process, I have been performing with Instagram and YouTube to look for recipes, and I have tried to incorporate technology while sharing my cooking experiences. From cutting and joining movies using Kinemaster to sharing interesting clips on my youtube channel. This project was not just a food project – it was also learning how to be creative, experimenting how to present food in an innovative way.To that, I say thank you for this learning project which has been not only delicious but a touch, taste, smell, and hear experience that I will never forget even after this semester is over!
