My Comfort food: Making Indian delicacy
This week we had to use an app that we have never used, so I decided to use Kinemaster. It is an editing tool which helps you to edit your videos, put them together and you can even add various sounds, text and change the speed of your video. Since I do some random edits on Instagram I had some idea on how to edit videos but never did it with some kind of app or tool. I first practiced it with random pictures from camera roll in order to understand the app and then recorded my recipe. To use this app, we can download it from the app store or google play store.
we then click on create and select the size of the video and enter the name.
Next add the videos or photos of your choice by clicking the media button.
After that you can either trim the video, add some filters, and change the speed of the video.
Then, if u want to add some text, click this button and it will take you to some options and you can choose the text option.
In the text option, you can choose the font and the colour of your text.
After that you can choose the audio option and select the different type of music according to your taste and video.
In the end you can choose the thumbnail by clicking this button.
Lastly, you can save the video and share it on your platform.
For me, I decided to make Shahi Paneer, which is a comfort food for me. This recipe is taught to me by my mom before I came to Canada. It is definitely a long recipe which requires some patience and a lot of time but in the end the result is always fruitful. According to me, this tool is a great idea for highschoolers to use a different app for editing their videos. It is a great tool if you are starting your journey in content creation. Following is my video.
