Hello! My name is Paige Doud and I am in the pre-K to 5 program at the University of Regina. I am currently a pre-intern. I have been working with children for a long time and am so excited to be on this journey! Read ahead to learn more about me!

Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved playing “teacher” with my friends. I always enjoyed going to school and I have lots of my work from my elementary years still. I went to both elementary and high school in my hometown, Radville, Saskatchewan. I have been babysitting since I was old enough to and also have worked in a daycare, led summer activity programs, and worked at a before and after school program.

It was no surprise to my family when I applied to the University of Regina to be a teacher. Everyone knew I loved working with kids. I have been so grateful to be able to attend a university that is close to home and just for the overall experience. I have met so many wonderful people through my schooling and created so many networks.

Aside from teaching and school, I also have several other hobbies. In high school, I played badminton for several years. I have always loved spending time with family and friends, they are one of my top priorities. Some other things I love to do are kayaking, walking my dog, doing puzzles, golfing, and working with cattle on our family farm.

I am so excited to continue my educational journey as a future teacher and cannot wait to see what is in my future!
