I agree with you that using some of these tools also helps in enhancing students’ digital literacy. And definitely, the use of these tools is not a one size fit all. So they all have their advantages and disadvantages. I think, it’s important that one understands the features of these tools to know if they will be useful in the context one wishes to apply them. I also agree with you that they only come with limited features and one has to pay to get the effective and maximum feautres of these tools.
