Full disclosure, this blog thing has me a bit stressed because like any good ol’ Sasky boy with rural roots, I do not enjoy change. I submit as Exhibit A, the move to My School Sask. Actually, I could reference the move to and then away from the two or three other systems prior to MSS, but in the interest of length I will stop right here.
I do look forward to exploring a different element in my studies this term, as this class should definitely take me in a different direction from the EDL classes I have participated in so far. The demand on the use of technology in teaching and learning that we have been involuntarily immersed in for the last couple of years only highlights the value and need to explore technological literacy and digital citizenship – as a leader, a teacher, a student, and a parent.
