About me

About me

As you already know I am in my second year of music education, which is very exciting, but I still have a long way to go! I have participated in many music programs, whether that may be honour bands or teaching experiences. I am very passionate and want to include as many people as I can into participating in playing!

I grew up in Esterhazy which is a very small town in Saskatchewan. I Graduated then move to Regina to attend University. I am lucky where I am now and extremely ready to begin my teaching journey!

Since I was young, I knew I wanted to become a Band Teacher. I loved attending band classes and band events.

From grade 6-12 I attended Kenoose Lake Band Camp. I got to be a camper and a Counselor. I learned so much and met so many fantastic musicians, I made life long friends that I still stay in touch with to this day!

In my Grade 12 year I was lucky enough to attend NYB (National Youth Band of Canada). It was such an amazing opportunity that locked me into wanting to become a music teacher! I met so many people who Inspired me to become better. Especially one of the percussionist who I got the honor to play with. She became my Role model for become a better musician and Teacher.
