In 2018 I was lucky enough to travel to Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic and teach English to students ranging from grade 1-8 at a school called Escuela Basica John F. Kennedy.
I will never forget how grateful and willing to learn those students were, it was really a life changing opportunity. I learned so many things there, not just about teaching but about the different cultures as well. The trip was an experience of a life time, and I will never forget the things I was told or taught there.
