Who Am I?

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to pursue a career in teaching. From a young age I recognized the power of education and the impact an educator could make by empowering students and supporting their academic and personal growth.

I grew up in a small town, about an hour and a half east of Regina. My father is a farmer so I’ve spent a lot of time on the farm, where I found my love for the outdoors. Spending time outdoors has deepened my appreciation for curiosity and helped me to think on my feet to solve problems with creative solutions.

From seeing different cultures and traditions, to learning new languages and being surrounded by my loved ones, some of my favourite memories come from travelling the world with my family.

Exercise and sports have always been a big part of my life. I started dancing at the age of 8, and started to compete at the age of 13 until I graduated high school. I began playing volleyball in grade 6, and started playing competitively through grade 11 and 12.
