Embarking on a Digital Journey: My Sixth Learning Project Dives into the Depths of Google Docs

My sixth learning project would be exploring one for Google’s workspace tool, Google Docs.

It has similar features to Microsoft Word if you are handy with MS Word, you will find this pretty easy to use. Learning this alongside the My Canva project because I had to copy an image from Google Docs.

How to use Google Docs

Create a Google account if you don’t have one yet.

Here is a link on how to do that

If  you have one or have done that already

  • Select Google Docs
  • Create new
  • Name your title
  • Go ahead and do your thing

Unique features of Google Docs

Linkable documents: You can share your document via link to anyone to view your work.

Access: You can decide who can have access and edit the file.

Comments: Viewers can comment on your documents

Collaboration: Teamwork is made easy with Google Docs.

Translation: This is amazing!!! You can translate your text to another language, simply by selecting ‘tools > translate and viola! Your text is translated.

Autosave: You don’t have to worry about saving your document while working, it saves automatically.

Offline mode: You can switch to offline mode. This allows you to edit your work without Internet connection. There are more features to explore, I believe. I found this tool quite fascinating, you should try it out too and let me know what you think.
