About Me

Mom, my dad and I at my graduation

My name is Shae-Lynn Baier, but I prefer going by Shae. I grew up here in Regina Saskatchewan, and I am attending my first year of University here at the University of Regina in hopes of becoming a future educator. Growing up I’ve lived with my parents Tammy and Kevin, along with my older brother Nick. My parents have been divorced since I was 12 years old, but I’ve been fortunate to receive a wonderful support system from the two of them while they have managed to co-parent both my brother and I. Without my family I wouldn’t have got to where I am today. Family means everything to me and I’m forever grateful to have them by my side.

A few things I love are travelling, fashion, my friends, being around kids and overall making others happy. People who know me- know that I’m a positive, joyful person and I’m always down to have fun time and laugh. By having such a bubbly personality, I hope to bring the fun into my future classroom and fulfil all my future students education experience by creating a dynamic that is inclusive for everyone. Being around kids is truly something I adore and their imagination is what captures me most on becoming a teacher. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me…. here’s to the start of a new chapter of my life, and I’m glad you’re tagging along for the journey!
