Over time in class I had gathered up ‘I believe’ statements which I will carry into my future, as a educator
This list will never be finished, There will always be new ones added as my knowledge grows over the years.

We are all equal
We are what we believe we are

You can teach students all you want, but they will never listen unless they have a connection
We are on Treaty 4 land and that is something that must be acknowledged.
There is no such thing as 1, or 2 ‘chances’, every student will mess up and our job as teachers is not make sure they feel comfortable messing up and that the teachers will show them how to fix the mistake rather than ‘failing an assignment’. We should give opportunities for each student to grow.
