Hello! I’m Sky-Anne, a pre-service teacher currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Regina. I’m passionate about inclusive education, culturally responsive teaching, and supporting all learners in developing confidence and curiosity in the classroom.
This blog site is part of my Digital Learning Project – a journey in which I explore how we can use digital tools and online technology to learn just about anything. My focus is on using tech to build and stick to a consistent fitness and wellness routine – tracking my progress, staying motivated, and reflecting along the way. It’s helping me understand the power of self-directed, tech-supported learning – an important skill in our increasingly-advanced world and something I hope to bring into my future classroom.
I believe that being a lifelong learner is essential for teaching, and this project is just one way to help me model it. This site ties into my larger Education Journey e-portfolio where I document my teaching philosophy, reflections and professional learning. If you’re interested in seeing more off this journey, you can visit my full Education e-portfolio here.
