There is much concern over the unequal distribution of technology and internet access among different socioeconomic classes, defined as the “digital discrepancy.” The cost of contemporary technology, fast internet, and the necessary digital literacy training is unaffordable for many people who live in low-income and rural areas. The disparity in employment and educational opportunities could hinder the advancement of individuals with disabilities.
