Although I’m not that old, and have only been out of high school for just under 10 years, technology was not really a part of my classroom. Assignments were mostly turned in the old fashioned way… pen and paper (my type of technology). Therefore I never had to consider cyber security except for a passcode on my phone.
It wasn’t really until University where technology in the form of a personal laptop became the norm. And again, I never really considered cyber security other than the McFee antivirus that came on the laptop and a personal passcode.
Now you walk into a classroom and students from Elementary and up all have access to computer laps, Chromebook, i Pads and phones that are “smart”. Without knowing all the details of what type of cyber security is in place, I would assume that the school divisions IT department has the appropriate security measures in place.
