Field Experience

My field experiences in both provincial and federal band schools have been an incredible part of my growth as a pre-service teacher. These placements have given me the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, build meaningful relationships, and see firsthand how inclusive, culturally responsive teaching can make a difference. Each experience has deepened my understanding of classroom management, lesson planning, and the importance of community in education. I am especially grateful for the chance to learn from and alongside students and educators in both urban and First Nations school settings. These experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy and strengthened my commitment to reconciliation through education.
