This week is the final week of our spring EDTC 300 course. We were asked at the start of the semester to help our classmates out by commenting on blogs, following their journey, help with questions they may have, and be supportive.
I would like to think I was a helpful classmate, although I didn’t know much at the beginning I was able to help others in the discord chat or in our break out groups with tasks I either had already completed or knew how to do. Below are a few screen shots of the discord conversations to help fellow classmates!
Next I have gathered some of the times I commented on classmates blog posts. I will be honest by the end of the class it started to become less frequent because I had some personal things going on but that didn’t mean I didn’t check in on how everyone’s projects were going and what their weekly blogs were about because I did find that very helpful in finding new resources I can use personally or in my future classroom.
Overall I would like to say I was there to help my classmates out and support them either in the class or their learning journeys. I felt so grateful for this class and the students in it because they also helped me greatly whenever I had my own questions! Almost every other person has inspired me to start to get out of my comfort zone and try new skills such as being active, trying new recipes, macramé, and crocheting. Better yet I now have so many resources to help learn these new skills! So thank you to everyone, hope your summer is relaxing and best of luck on your teaching journey!
