Matt, it’s not surprising at all that your video is so well done and very entertaining! All of your blog posts have entertained me this semester, and educated me as well. The connection to movies was incredibly creative, well done! Interesting that you and some others mentioned the varied definitions of blended learning as a key takeaway. I hadn’t mentioned this in my summary, but should have – it was really surprising to me when we first learned about that. Interesting as well that you found the ADDIE model a bit too prescriptive at times. I think I’m the opposite. I found it a lot of work, but really necessary in my case. I’m not used to “teaching on the fly” like you, so maybe that’s where the differing opinions come from – and the nature of our students is quite different as well. I remember you talking about open hostility and students trying to sabotage your teaching, which I honestly cannot relate to. Huge props to you for dealing with that. Isn’t it amazing how much we learned about accessibility? Like you, I thought I was doing a good job before and had no complaints, but clearly had a ton of room for improvement. Excellent summary, congratulations! Thank you for all of your support and feedback throughout the semester, it was very helpful.
Hey Matt,
Great video! So creative. What a great way to present your learning takeaways in an engaging, unique way!
I also really enjoyed your course prototype on buying and leasing cars. Your course is so well organized and the content all looks amazing. You clearly put a lot of work into this. Nice work!
Thanks for all the engagement on my blog this term. Take care!
Hey Matt,,
The way you create your content is really appreciable. Your course prototype, blogs your critical thinking to write a content is amazing. Before this summary of learning I got an opportunity to see your EDL 819 summary that was also amazing. Thank you!
