Hello! My name is Tina Khaveri, I was born and raised in Iran and I am currently living in Saskatchewan, “ land of living Sky”, I recently immigrated to Canada on my own and cannot help making new friends and learning more about amazing cultural differences!

This is my first semester at the University of Regina in the Secondary Education program, specializing in Mathematics. I am currently working in Ashley’s home store as an administrator. I was first inspired to pursue teaching during my volunteer experience while I was working as an engineer in my country. After that, I started my career in different schools which provided me rewarding experience through working with various talents and abilities.

Education & Technology!

I do believe nowadays technology has a significant role in both teaching and learning as you can see technology in every aspect of life. In other words, a massive amount of information is now available through the Internet, blogs, online courses which I think can profoundly support the educational systems. In order to get more experience with education technology, I personally use Instagram, Youtube, and google search to learn about my favorite subjects.

A few words about me!

I am the one who always volunteers to help, My friends used to call me “ Ahanin” which in my mother –tongue is used to describe people who never give up! I love both reading and writing and one of my biggest dreams is publishing my stories, not in the distant future!
