Chapter One: All About Me

Hey Everyone! My name is Trey Lefebvre and I am 24 years young! I am born and raised here in Regina, Saskatchewan. I come from a family of four! My mom and dad have been and forever will be my greatest teachers. I have an older sister who is my backbone and my whole world. I am blessed with an amazing, loving family as well as two puppies, Penny and Oakley, who like my family, I cherish each and everyday!

Family Christmas 2019

Growing up I was the youngest on both sides of the family. Since I was little, my older cousins have been having kids and I have always had little kids around. I have always been able to build a connection and have been a great influence and role model.

I have always been into sports since I was young, I have played hockey since I was four and continue today! I enjoy taking the challenge of learning a new sport, from basketball, football, baseball, to golf, curling and badminton! I enjoy it all and anytime I get a chance to learn a new one, you can sign me up!

One thing I love just as much as sports, is music! I grew up playing piano at a young age until I was in my teens! I then picked up the guitar in high school and fell in love with playing guitar and singing! I am always listening to music and enjoy a wide variety! Good lyrics and a good beat will always get me! I look forward to taking my music skills into the classroom.

Once I graduated high school, I started working at Westjet Airlines! I was a customer service agent and had a wide range of duties and tasks. My favourite task was gate controller where I would make announcements for the guests boarding. This was a great learning experience because I was interacting with many different people from all countries! During my years, One thing I learned was how people are all different. On a daily basis I would be interacting with families traveling with young ones, children flying alone, as well as the elderly.

How did I get here? Im glad you asked 🙂 During my journey I have always been able to build a connection with the next generation. What better way than to become a teacher! Ive always been told I would be a great teacher and that kids respond to me very well. After hearing that, it has always stuck with me. The more I learn about kids and the support they need in the classroom, the more I want to build relationships with them and provide all the resources they need to be successful.
