This is my learning profiles assignment:

In this assignment, we were placed into groups where each member of the blog group had to choose one child from our “who’s in your pocket” assignment to focus on and write a narrative. Then we worked together, just like a staff group would in a school setting, to share ideas to draft Informal Learning Profile for each child. After that was completed we chose one child to focus on to do a more in-depth Informal Learning Profile.

Our goals for the projects were to:

1. Share & Discuss: Who’s in your Pocket? Talk about the narrative posted on your blog. Remember to stay with the facts, avoid any side stories that you want to share as these may be more opinion based and not fact based. Begin to consider differentiation possibilities by applying the Adaptive Dimension.

2. Plan for Inclusion: Imagine the “Who’s in your pocket? students as part of your classroom. As a team, explore possible ideas and strategies of Differentiated Learning: Adaptive Dimension in Practice. Explore ways to adapt the variables of learning environment (the where), instruction (the how), resources (the what) and assessment (the show what you know). Remember to think about ways technology may also provide learning opportunities not otherwise possible.

3. Choose & develop: As a group, choose one story to focus on as a case study. Develop one detailed learning profile, as evidence of learning.
