Hello welcome to my portfolio! My own personal elementary school and high school education experience has been an environment where I have fostered meaningful friendships, effective communication skills, and a passion to create an inclusive space for the future students I will teach, like many of my past educators have done. I am a very social person and I enjoy making new friends. Growing up, I played soccer and volleyball which played a big role in shaping who I am today. I love spending time with loved ones, reading, scrapbooking, and trying new things. Before being accepted into the Education Faculty, I took a few years to decide what I wanted to be before returning back to school. I am so glad I took the time to decide the right path for me because during that time, I discovered I am passionate about wanting to become a teacher. Teachers are some of the most influential figures in a child’s life and it is an honour to be able to make a difference in someone’s life: It is so special to me that people will never forget a teacher that has positively influenced them. I am so excited to continue growing and learning on my journey to become a teacher!
