Educational Philosophy

With several years of experience working with the early years, I know that educating students is done when we account for each students learning style. I believe in educating the whole child through many different hands on experiences. Educating children is most effective when you involve them in the learning process and not just teach for memorization. I also believe the environment plays a huge role in the learning each student will experience. In my classroom, I aim to create a welcoming, open, and safe place for all students to learn. Within this environment, every student will have an opportunity to learn and be provided with the appropriate resources to do so. In order to have a strong foundation for these educational experiences, I will need to lead with positive respectful relationships with each student. These relationships will be a key part in unlocking their potential to learn.
