For my last learning project post, I used Tik Tok when finding the recipe I was going to use. I loved how easy it was to access, so I decided to use Tik Tok again, this time from a different creator. Instead of baking full recipes like I have every other week, I decided to try an individual dessert that I have been seeing all over my Tik Tok. I decided to go with an individual microwave cookie recipe to satisfy me for one sweet treat.
This is the Tik Tok that I used…
@archivedchef Microwave pizookie!🍪😋🫶🏼 recipe: – 2 tbsp butter (28g) – 1 tbsp sugar (12g) – 2 tbsp brown sugar (28g) – 1 tbsp milk (18ml) – 1/2 tsp vanilla extract – 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp flour (52g) – 1/4 tsp baking soda – 1/8 tsp salt – 2 tbsp chocolate chips Microwave for 45 seconds💐✨ #Pizookie #SingleServeDessert #MicrowaveCookie #QuickDessert #EasyRecipe #ChocolateChipCookie #DessertHack #MicrowaveBaking #DessertLovers #SweetTooth #LateNightSnack #EasyDesserts #TikTokFood #RecipeInspo #BakingFun #Foodie #Yummy #DessertTime #TreatYourself #SnackAttack @Land O’Lakes @Ghirardelli Chocolate Company @ARM & HAMMER
I highly recommend using individual recipes if you want something sweet, but don’t want to commit to making a whole recipe. In total it took me only about 10 mins from start to finish. Plus, it does not require much ingredients, so if you do not have much baking supplies or time, it only requires a very little amount of both. The very simple steps I followed were:
I mixed together
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup and 2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
Technically, you need to microwave it for about a minute in order for it to bake into a cookie, however since my mouth is still hurting quite a bit, I decided to not microwave it and have the cookie dough as it is (there is no eggs so it is safe to eat!). This video was excellent though, she recorded each of her steps, as well as using audio recording to explain it as she went along. Much like the last creator I found, this creator also has many other recipes on her page, it appears that dessert is her specialty. I love using Tik Tok for learning new things, it is so perfect for visual learners like myself. Going into the last couple of weeks, I want to explore other platforms where I can watch videos on how to make these things, as I have found that the most helpful so far.
Oh, this looks yummy! This is such an easy recpie as well, and I never have seen a super easy “edible cookie dough recipe,” so I’m glad you found one and made it! I know have to try this one out! Great work!
Hi Camryn, Thanks for your post!I absolutely loved reading your post — what a fun and practical idea! 🍪 Using TikTok for individual dessert recipes is such a smart move, especially when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want the mess of a full recipe (I totally relate!). The fact that you could enjoy it even as raw cookie dough was a great workaround, and I appreciate you mentioning it’s eggless and safe to eat!
