Hello!
My name is Bernice, and I’m currently working on my degree in High School Math Education at the University of Regina!
I’m very excited to eventually start my career as a teacher. I’ve always loved to help people, and I believe that through teaching, I can best equip young students to develop skills that will help them reach their full potential and create a better future. I myself have been very positively shaped by my own teachers all throughout my life – both inside and outside the classroom.
I was born in Germany, and my parents immigrated to Canada when I was around five years old. For me, this means that I am both bilingual and have dual citizenship. I hold on to the German language and culture as much as I can, but I would consider myself much more Canadian on the whole.
My family settled in (the middle of nowhere) Macoun, Saskatchewan, where I went to elementary at the Maoun School. In grade nine I moved on to the Estevan Comprehensive High School and graduated there in 2021. I took two years of music at Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, SK, and am now working towards my degree in Education!
