I grew up in a very small town. Growing up in such a small town and attending such a small school we did not have access to a very wide range of technology. We used smart boards and had laptops that we were able to use. Having access to such minimal technology I now have a great interest in many different types of technology within the classroom, and how to use them.
As a future teacher I Believe that technology will play an important role within my classroom and I am eager and excited to learn more about technology!
Blogging is something that is very new to me! When we were first told that we were to create and post a blog it is something that scared me. I use technology within my every day life however this is not something I have any experience with. Even though this scared me I was also excited, I was excited to learn something new and be able to use this in my career.
During university last semester I had one of my professors bring in E.Y.E.S. to give us a presentation on Ozobots. During this lesson, it opened my eyes to a few ways that technology can be used within the classroom. This was an interesting lesson as this is not something that I have not had access to before.
After our presentation with E.Y.E.S I learned that teachers were able to work with them to borrow and check out these different technologies to use within their classroom. This is something that I will be taking advantage of within my future classroom!
