Stitching my Granny Squares together!

It’s getting closer and closer to the end of this learning project. Which has me thinking what do I want to have finished for my final project post. So for my final project I would like to make a mini baby blanket! The good news is that I do already have the start of the foundation finished by creating a couple granny squares. The next step is to learn how to crochet the granny squares together which is what I will be talking about today.

I chose to use a YouTube video as I have learnt that this platform is the easiest platform to learn from. The video I chose was ” How to join Granny Squares for beginners” by Bella Coco. My initial thoughts on this video was that it was a great video to learn from. She begins the video by telling the audience that she will share two different methods of joining the squares and then puts time stamps on where the methods start and finish. I chose to only try the first method as I have learnt if I try too many ways to do something I get confused. I was happy to learn that the first method was very easy which made it a lot more enjoyable. Overall I rate the tutorial a 9/10!

In the video below is where you will find me demonstrating the method. Hope you enjoy!
