My pre-internship was a great experience. The amount that I got from this first experience can never be replaced. I learnt so many valuable things that I will be able to take into all my future teaching experiences. Throughout my experience in the 8 week block I found myself getting more comfortable, learning more about each students needs, learning how to keep interests high, and new ways to make sure students were really getting something from the material I was teaching. By the end I did not want to leave as it seemed to be over so quickly; this experience had solidified my thoughts about teaching and ultimately made me want to get to the point where I was teaching again as fast as possible. I cant wait to get back in the classroom and continue to learn new ways of teaching and continue to develop my teaching resources.
