I am a a lifelong resident of Saskatchewan. My ancestors settled here over one hundred years ago in rural Saskatchewan on Treaty 6 land (Humboldt area). I have lived my entire life in Regina on Treaty 4 Territory. I obtained my first degree in Biology from the UofR, and am now obtaining my Education degree.
Owing to my background as a Biologist, I place a high value on learning one’s place in our world and ecosystem, and the positive and negative impacts our actions can have. Any opportunity I have to take students outside, I will. I believe students learn best through lived experience
